Yes. The basketball court and the tennis court are located toward the front of The Grande at Canal Pointe entrance. They are adjacent to the pool, so you can cool off after shooting hoops or playing doubles. The tennis court is a hard-court, and it's half-court basketball.
If you are looking for a quite relaxing place to picnic, there is a park overlooking the Rehoboth-Lewes Canal. It's heavily treed with towering pines and oaks. You can launch a kayak from here, as well as fish, or just relax and watch a beautiful sunrise. The park is for single family homeowners.
Yes there is! The Grande at Canal Pointe has a community playground with updated fun equipment, and is fully fenced for safety.
Each of the two pools has its own clubhouse, with its own exercise rooms. They are updated with top of the line equipment. This includes both Universal fitness equipment, running, elliptical, and cycle machines. All equipment is top of the line quality.
There are two swimming pools, located at opposite ends of the community so they are closeby wherever you live. The pool closer to the entrance is owned by the condo/townhome group, and the pool toward the back is single family homeowner owned. The great news is that both pools are reciprocal, so feel free to use either one for a relaxing swim and sun.
The Grande at Canal Pointe broke ground in 2008, and was built-out over the next ten years. Because of its superb location, it sold out surprisingly quickly. It was built by NVHomes.
The Grande at Canal Pointe consists of about 300 single family homes, townhomes, and condominiums.
